Small Group Training

If you're ready to take on total-body fitness in a small Group (6 max) Fitness style environment, then our Group Classes are for you. Using an innovative blend of Pilates, strength and conditioning, and bodyweight exercises, we'll have you sweating and getting Singapore's best workouts for women over 40 in no time.

  • Reformer Pilates - with no limit to the types of exercises you can do, this innovating machine will get you hooked.

Pink FitNut - breast cancer programme

You've had breast cancer and have been given the all-clear to start exercising. But you're worried that this new body and mind of yours won't be understood by your new trainer. You want someone who "gets" what you've been through and can programme and modify exercises to suit your circumstance.

Our coaches have been trained by Aly Khairuddin, breast cancer survivor, Founder, and creator of the Pink FitNut Programme. While they may not have breast cancer, they are fully aware of the toll it may have taken on you. They will know what to do if you've had a Lat Flap, or a DIEP Flap. Or if you have neuropathy. Or perhaps, you just want someone who won't be nervous about helping you feel stronger. To have more energy. And to just start to LIVE this new life after the journey you've been on.

We will help you through your journey, whether you have to wear a compression sleeve or you still have further treatments to go.

Developed By Aly Khairuddin. Designed to get stronger and leaner.

I was a gym nut aged 12, long before I was a Pilates nut. I used to run half marathons and did triathlons.

But when I got serious about Pilates, I shunned everything else, thinking Pilates was the only thing I needed to do.

But then I got breast cancer in 2015, and the side effects included 16 kg weight gain, arthiritic joints, nerve damage in my feet, early menopause effects like brain fog and hot flushes. I felt ugly, I felt depressed that I was not the Hot Pilates Bod that I used to be.

But the truth is this. As much as I LOVE Pilates - it just does not burn enough calories to count as a fat burning exercise.

So when I needed to rehabilitate myself, I designed a short bodyweight exercise. Basic movements like squats, lunges, push ups and when I gained more strength, rows and shoulder presses.

Then I got stronger. I lost some weight. So I started doing short bursts of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). And increasing my protein too. All this helped shed the extra weight I had gained, and I had so much more energy.

I realised that I was wrong to ditch the weights.

So when I opened my tiny FitNut Loft studio in 2017, I introduced the concept of combining Pilates + Strength Training + HIIT. And wow. The results were amazing.

Women who didn't normally like to work out 'hard' were really getting stronger. They loved the new shape of their arms. They loved how it supported the other things they loved to do like play tennis, hike, play golf and run.

Women NEED to lift weights. But it's out of their comfort zone for many. So by making strength training with weights something accessible and not scary, women are learning how essential and important this is.

It shouldn't be an either/or decision. Both Pilates and Strength Training and necessary and can help anyone feel their best.

I'm proud to see the results our FitNutters get when they embark on our Strong & Lean programme. It works so well for women, especially those in their 40s, 50s and 60s.
