Amazing 12 Body Transformation

Introduction:

The Amazing 12™ (A12) is the World's Best Body Transformation Programme, created by the genius Paul McIlroy in Dublin. They have helped over 8000 people globally achieve their best selves. This is my story of my journey.

FitNut Loft is the ONLY studio in Singapore certified in this programme and we are taking new clients in at our River Valley Studio.

You don't have to be superwoman to lift weights or to change how your body looks! Here are 7 important things to know about this programme and how it can change YOUR life.

1. Lose weight

Don't believe that Fat weighs more than muscle. No way. 1kg is 1kg! But, fat takes up MORE SPACE in your body hence you look bigger. Doing this 12 week programme helped me lose fat, and gain a lot more muscle. The overall weight dropped about 4 kg, but, the centimeters lost was huge. See from my photo how my stomach looks for proof!

2. Never diet again

The Amazing 12 programme does not come with a meal plan. Because we all have different tastes. But what it does, is to give you a blueprint of what to eat and how much. You don't weigh any food, but use your hand to gauge the amount eaten. Right off the bat - I realised how LITTLE protein I was eating! I was never hungry!

3. Carbs are allowed

Thank goodness for that! I love my fruit. And, there is a cheat day every week so you can go a bit nuts on that day. While alcohol is not 'allowed', you can enjoy it on your cheat day.

4. Get stronger

Volume lifted is the weight x the reps. I kept a spreadsheet and I kid you not - every workout I was lifting over 2000 kilograms! That's right - TWO THOUSAND! Volume is one important aspect that helps get you stronger. Your workouts are personalised based on your previous workout results.

5. Keep it simple

Sometimes we get waylaid by trying to do some crazy exercises that look good on instagram. But, the basic movements like squats, shoulder presses and bench presses are the way to go. You can't go wrong with it. We teach you the best technique so that you will feel like a super woman in the gym wherever in the world you will go.

6. Photo speaks the truth

All our Amazing 12 superhumans have a photo shoot before and after. While we may seem shy why the heck won't we celebrate all our hard work with proof? Yes we may be shy, and believe me, I was really embarrassed at my before photo. But then .... I faced my fears and wa so happy to compare the before and after.

7. How it works

When you sign up you'll choose which group you want to join. Typically we have monday/wednesday/fridays and start in the morning around 7.30.

You'll be invited for the before photo and we will teach you the fundamentals. In that same week, we will also take your pre-workout capacities. Meaning, we want to see how strong you are before the 12 weeks starts.

Then, we kick off with week 1....till 12. At the end of the 12 weeks you'll have a photoshoot and a pre-photoshoot workout to help the muscles get a bit show-offy.

Who is it for?

Anyone. But, you have to be able to :

  1. Commit to the 12 weeks. Make adjustments to your life to fit the programme in, not the other way around.

  2. Make sure that you don't have major injuries that prevent you from moving. While we have modifications, if you have an injury that your doctor says you should refrain exercising with, then this is not for you.

  3. Men or women. In fact, we encourage couples to workout together as you'll be able to fully support yourself at home for meals.

  4. Tell the people in your life that for the next 12 weeks, you will be embarking on a life changing programme and that you need THEIR support. Meaning - they should respect your food choices and abstinence (for 6 out of 7 days anyway!).
